Apparently, my first therapist did manage to get some letters written in a timely fashion through the summer, allowing people to meet the requirements to get dates with the same surgeon in the later part of this year. This was during the time that she was unresponsive for me, taking months to write mine.

This makes for a clear pattern of behavior. She intentionally made longer requirements for me for both access to HRT and surgery. When, due to life circumstances, the longer requirement for a surgery letter didn't impact me she went out of her way to cause a delay (and, for the record, it did cause a delay of my surgery date, but not a significant one.)

Yeah okay then so I came back to say something else (which escapes me now because that's how with it I am) only to find I've left glaring word error in my wake, which is like, just fucking fantastic on my part. I really need to stop having impassioned rants on other people's behalf. ANYWAY.

"...in charge of transpeople's lives" was supposed to be "in charge of BENEFITING transpeople's lives" though thinking on it now it might be an interesting Freudian slip because by being such a stroppy little buttface about the process the doctor has, in fact, wrongfully seized power over someone's life that just... ugh I'm mad again.

Anyway, bla, I'm so sorry. I can't even really imagine what it must have been like on your end if just hearing about it makes me want to vomitrage for you from the frustrating. Needless to say (yet here I am saying it anyway), you really didn't deserve that. Nobody does. And fuck her.
