windrdr talked to her sister. Shes great; she tried very hard to use proper pronouns for me and has been working on their mother. :)

*hugs* Thanks. It really helped me feel so much better! We're at the point now where, except for MIL, the emotional investment isn't nearly so great for us - it will be nice to have a good response but if not, so be it.

It's a wonderful place to be and I am so fortunate to have so much - wonderful family and friends.
