Well that suck.
Sep. 12th, 2025 11:54 pmI made a decision to drop off Facebook a while back because it had become a time sink for me. As it's the only connection to some people I do very much care about I check in about as often as I do here. Two of those people are my surgery sisters - the two other women who got vaginas installed on the same day as me and from the same surgeon.
Last night when I logged in I found that one of them had posted that she is booked for revision surgery with our surgeon.
I am, of course, extremely happy for her. However, it also brought forth some heavy emotions about how I got absolutely no support for my complications and poor outcome - that even my request to book a consultation about the issues and possibility of revision surgery was denied after which my calls and e-mails were never again returned, even when I was seeking information from my file that other doctors needed to inform their treatment of me.
I don't know for sure what it means but it sure makes me think that perhaps I was right in the past when I thought that the surgeon knew something went wrong during my surgery. It definitely would explain a lot of the difference.
