Ah, Thursday, my old nemesis.
Jun. 30th, 2011 03:48 pmToday is a long day for me as I'm trying to get things wrapped-up before a vacation.
We're off to the Blue Ridge Mountains tomorrow, staying in a place just off the Blue Ridge Parkway about an hour northeast of Asheville, NC. This is planned to be a two-wheeled trip, with us each taking our bikes and, for the travel between home and there, me pulling the PiggyBacker trailer.
We don't have much planned, just enjoying ourselves. We both badly need this break. While the first half of this year has been nothing short of spectacular it has come with a fairly steep price tag: our own energy and stress which are not helped by a work schedule that severely limits the time we have together each week.
