My TG Speech and Communication group wrapped up with a really nice final meeting at Riva's, a darling little Italian place in downtown Greensboro. The recommendation of my final evaluation is to discontinue treatment as I've met all of my objectives. I really only have one thing left to do with this group - be part of a presentation at the WPATH Symposium in the fall.
On the way home I had a bit of a freak-out moment. I pulled out to pass a Corvette immediately after the I-40/I-85 merger as the driver had set a speed slightly lower than my own. Just as I was past that car the driver increased speed and began pacing me no matter how I changed my speed. To keep this short, it went on for 8 miles, though with that car finally getting to my left and me in the right-most lane, finally ending when I went into a rest area. Took most of the 40-odd miles ahead of me for my heart rate to return to normal.
