I'm happy to see another form of institutionalized discrimination against LGB persons end. It truly is a good thing.
Understand that I'm not over-the-moon happy about this, though, as it still leaves trans persons forced to live that lie. Make it, say, gender-inclusive ENDA, for example, and I'll be a bit more enthused. There's something about not being able to be fired simply for being a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or* trans man or woman that I rather like and consider a bit more significant.
* Do remember that some people, such as myself, have identities that fall under more than one of the letters.
