#2 Another friend will be visiting early in the fall!
#3 surgery might be closer than I had long thought.
#3a Realizing this brought a flood of feelings, very much mixed. Most were ones I'd known were there but I'd put off since surgery was in the nebulous far-away future and suddenly I was forced to confront them.
#3b I've long not trusted my therapist but I came into some information that increased this and gave me pause about the future. I'm contacting a different therapist so I can be sure I have my surgery letters in place when the time comes for #1.
#4 I'll be in Boston sometime this fall; presently expected to be sometime in October. I'll be helping a friend with her recovery from surgery.
#5 Girl friends rock.
#6 Working from home also rocks. I did so today due to a late upgrade (wrapped-up at 22:05.)
#7 I'm on the motorcycle the rest of the week as my wife's bike is inoperable (about-to-fail clutch cable) and she cannot ride mine, thus she needs the car.
